The job you give us

The office finds rooms at inns, lodges and hotels and writes quotes. Once you approve one in writing, it asks the lodging to set that room aside under your name. You and the lodging are the two parties to the agreement for the room, and the office arranges it on your instructions.

Starting figures and your quote

Every price here is a starting figure marked from. It is built from a nightly rate the lodging published for a stated month, plus any required nightly fee, for two people. Taxes, weekend rates, other seasons and extras can change the total. The figure you rely on is the one in your written quote, confirmed by the lodging when it holds the room.

Payment

This website takes no payment and asks for no card. You pay the lodging directly, by its own methods and on its own schedule. The lodging pays the office a commission after your stay; that commission is not added to your bill.

Changes and refunds

Changes, cancellations and refunds follow the lodging's terms as printed in your quote. The mountain stay cancellation policy explains how the office helps with each.

Responsibility, split three ways

The office answers for the accuracy of the quote it writes and for passing your instructions on promptly. The lodging answers for the room, the service on site and its own conduct. Neither the office nor this website is responsible for weather, road conditions or the temperatures a particular summer brings: the averages on this site describe past years, not a forecast.

Shipping

Nothing is shipped. The service is planning and reserving lodging, and every document you receive arrives by email.

A search tool run by someone else

The office may later add a trip search tool run by a third-party company. If that happens, any search, booking or payment made inside that tool is between you and that company, under its terms, and this page and the privacy policy will be updated before the tool goes live.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking it through belongs to the courts of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
